1.Overview
King Sudoku (the “App”) is published by Ammaneh LLC (“Ammaneh”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we and our partners collect when you use King Sudoku on iOS and Android, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
By downloading or using King Sudoku, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You can play King Sudoku without creating an account or telling us your name. We and our partners do collect some automatic, pseudonymous identifiers — such as your advertising ID (see below) — but we only receive information that identifies you by name if you choose to contact us for support.
2.Information we collect
Information you provide
If you email us or use our contact form for support, we receive the information you give us — such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message — so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage data:
- Device & advertising identifiers — such as your device advertising ID (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID) and similar identifiers used for ads and analytics.
- Device information — device model, operating system and version, language and region settings, and app version.
- Usage & gameplay data — in-app events, features used, session length, and progress, used to operate and improve the game.
- Diagnostics — crash logs and performance data that help us find and fix problems.
- Approximate location & IP — a coarse, country/region-level location inferred from your IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location).
Purchase information
If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by the App Store or Google Play — not by us. We receive a record of what was purchased, when, and a store order/receipt identifier so we can deliver the item, validate the purchase, and support refunds. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
We do not knowingly collect your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.
3.How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and save your progress in the game;
- Process, validate, and restore your purchases;
- Display advertising and measure its performance;
- Understand how the App is used, measure performance, and fix bugs and crashes;
- Respond to your support requests;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Comply with legal obligations.
4.Advertising and analytics
King Sudoku is free and supported by advertising. To show ads and understand how the App performs, we use third-party services: Google AdMob for advertising and Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics for analytics and crash reporting. These providers may collect and process device identifiers and usage data under their own privacy policies.
Personalized vs. non-personalized ads
Depending on your region and your choices, the ads you see may be personalized (selected using your advertising ID and inferred interests) or non-personalized (based only on general context). On iOS, we always present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your advertising identifier to track, regardless of any legal requirement. For users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, we request consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before showing personalized ads. Where we cannot determine a user’s age, or a user is under 16, we default to non-personalized ads and do not use identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices
- iOS — We request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your IDFA to track. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android — You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
To learn more about how our partners handle data, see the Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses data from apps that use its services, and the Firebase Privacy & Security information.
6.Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Support messages are kept while we help you and for a reasonable period afterward. Purchase records are retained as needed for accounting, tax, and support obligations. Advertising and analytics data are retained according to our partners’ retention settings. Aggregated or de-identified data, which cannot reasonably identify you, may be kept for longer.
7.Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, and we rely on reputable providers such as Apple, Google, and Firebase. Data transmitted between the App and these providers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. Most of your game data stays on your device. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Children's privacy
King Sudoku is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information, please contact us at enisshelbaya@ammaneh.com so we can remove it.
9.Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email us at enisshelbaya@ammaneh.com. We may need to verify your request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Europe (EEA), the UK, and Switzerland
Where GDPR (or the UK GDPR) applies, we rely on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to operate the game and your purchases), legitimate interests (to secure the App, measure performance, and serve basic ads), consent (for personalized ads and tracking where required — you can withdraw it at any time), and legal obligation. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
United States — California
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, without being discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (including device and advertising IDs), internet and usage activity, approximate location, commercial information about purchases, and any information you provide to support, and inferred ad interests may be drawn or received in connection with advertising. Allowing advertising partners to use these identifiers for personalized ads is a “sale” and a “share” under California law; we do not otherwise sell your information for money. You can opt out using the device controls above (App Tracking Transparency on iOS, advertising-ID controls on Android) or by emailing us. Because these pages do not set advertising cookies, we also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent to our website. Where a user’s age is unknown or under 16, we default to non-personalized ads, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.
United States — Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states
If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of your data — which you can do using the device controls above or by emailing us. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with “Appeal” in the subject line, and you may also contact your state Attorney General.
10.International data transfers
We and our providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — for these transfers.
11.Third-party services and links
Ads and other content in the App may link to third-party websites or apps that we do not control. Their collection and use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
12.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice through the App or the store listing. Your continued use of King Sudoku after an update means you accept the revised policy.
